Chief Detective, NYPD, quoted in the Kips Bay Post Article (Session 4) as saying the department is no closer to locating Abigail Wright. The lead NYPD investigator before the case passed to the FBI.
Met Session 4: he knocked at Abigail's apartment, said he'd been instructed to make contact, and offered to be "a call away." He's going to find out who is heading the police investigation into the disappearance. He confirmed no open investigations on any other building resident — including Thomas Manuel.
Open Questions
- Who instructed him to make contact — and is he reporting back?
- Why are there no files on Manuel or anyone else in the building?
- What did the NYPD actually find before the backlog stalled them (crime scene visited 4×, detectives only 2×)?
