A figure first noted as an annotation on Abigail Wright's Night Floors Map — "MAN W/ BRIEFCASE AND WHITE SHOES" — who then physically appeared in Abigail's apartment in Session 5.

Elias saw him — a white man carrying a briefcase — and moved to stop him. The man vanished. Later in the same search he reappeared and vanished again, just before Elias found the Michael Witwer Boarding Pass. He seems tied to Elias's search of the apartment.

An Annotation That Walks
He is one of the **night-floors figures** (Mr. Wild, Mr. Ostanovic) now stepping out of Abigail's map and into the on-screen "real" space. Appearing and vanishing at will; purpose unknown. The briefcase implies business — an errand, a delivery, a collection.
Possible Identity: the Encyclopedia Salesman
In Session 5, Thomas Manuel said Abigail **"moved in with an encyclopedia salesman on the 6th floor"** before the party. An encyclopedia salesman carries a **briefcase of sample volumes** — a strong match for this figure. If so, the man Abigail "moved on" with is the one now appearing in her emptied apartment. The Smoking Lounge Play corroborates: Abigail **"ran off with that salesman, everyone knows it."**
