Analysis

Rent on a Floor That Doesn't Exist

The McAllistor Building has **three floors** — there is no tenth, no 10-B. Yet **one day before she was reported missing**, Abigail paid **$850** rent on it, with a **half-century-old receipt** dated 2015 and bearing **her full name.** She was, on paper, a tenant of the **night floors.**

Same time-anachronism as the 1933 stationery and the un-aged roof page — but this one is addressed to her.
The Sept 3 date sits inside the September timeline (vs. the June one). Whatever happened, she was still signing receipts the day before the report.
